When you head out into the countryside with your dogs, there’s one worry that all hunters know all too well: losing track of them.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re hunting woodcocks, wild boar or small game… when your dog enters dense woodland or wanders several kilometres away, you need to know exactly where it is.
This is where eSEEK GPS collars come in.
These devices are specifically designed to track hunting dogs with precision and reliability, even in difficult terrain where other systems fail. Thanks to a combination of GPS, VHF signal and 4G connectivity, they allow you to keep track of your dog even when the direct signal from the transmitter is lost, as you can locate your dogs from a mobile phone with no distance limit.
In other words: if the dog strays too far or disappears into the hills and ravines, the system can continue to track it via the mobile network with no distance limit.
How eSEEK GPS collars work
The eSEEK system consists of two main components:
1. GPS collar for the dog
This is placed around the dog’s neck and continuously sends its position to the handset.
2. Android receiver
This allows you to view the dog’s location in real time, manage multiple collars and control various functions.
This system combines several technologies to ensure reliable tracking:
Multi-constellation GPS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BDS)
VHF radio signal at 169 MHz
3G/4G connectivity via SIM card
Thanks to this combination, tracking works both at close range and from miles away, which is particularly useful for big game hunting or in mountainous areas.
Advanced features of eSEEK collars
In addition to GPS tracking, these collars include features designed to improve control of the dog during a hunting trip.
Among the most useful are:
9 levels of shock, vibration and beep for training
Built-in microphone allowing you to hear barking or ambient sounds
Controllable LED light to locate the dog in the dark
Vibration in the remote control and collar
Real-time tracking via the remote control
Compatibility with multiple collars at once
Share collars with other hunters
Virtual fence function
Locate other hunters’ remotes
In fact, a single remote can link up to 20 different collars, which is very useful for hunting parties or hunters with several dogs.
Battery life for long hunting days
One of the strengths of the eSEEK system is its battery life.
The collar can operate for up to 60 hours continuously, or 24 hours in the mini version, depending on the tracking settings.
This allows it to be used for several days of hunting without the need to constantly recharge the device.
Because let’s be honest… nobody wants to run out of battery just when the dog heads into the woods.
